Marie (Mary) Elizabeth Woods, born April 18, 1939, in Belfast, Ireland, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Grace Hospital on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14 12:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Parish located at 255 Stafford St., Winnipeg, Manitoba.

We have known Marie a very long time and we will miss her a lot. She was always happy to see you and we enjoyed for a good period of time, monthly visits with all our Irish friends having many laughs and worldly discussions. John was the love of her life and she cherished her children John and Christina. She was a devoted grandmother and very proud of her grandchildren. She was a very strong Catholic all through her life and never lost her faith in any circumstance. She will never be forgotten and we are thankful she was part of our lives. Rest in Peace.
