As our brother makes his journey home, it is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing at home of our dad, partner, grandfather, brother, and friend, Dennis Parisian, at the age of 62 years. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
From delivering papers on a small route in West St. Paul, to printing papers as a pressman, Dennis Parisian was a longtime employee of the Winnipeg Free Press, dedicating many years to his work and looking forward to his upcoming retirement. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in the outdoors - fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time at his place in Hadashville, his personal retreat and the place he felt most at peace. No road trip was too long, and no adventure was too spontaneous for Dennis.
Dennis was building a life with his loving partner, Dawn Marie. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Dennis (Dana), Adrien, Shelley (Dan), Justin (Kayla), Allissa, and Donovin. He is also survived by his sisters, Debbie (John), Darlene (Jerome), Dawn (John), brother Dwayne (Michelle), and his 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. He will also be remembered by his friends and family at the St. Norbert sweat lodge and by those who participated in Sun Dance Ceremonies alongside him over the years.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Laurrie (Larry) and Marguerite (Bunny). Dennis loved life and often lived it to the fullest. If you invited him somewhere, he would be there. If you needed a visit at home or in the hospital, he would be there. His love for nature, his sense of humour, and the memories he created with family and friends will never be forgotten. We only wish that we could have had more time.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. in Winnipeg.

My sincerest condolences to all his family. Though I didn’t see him often it was always a good conversation when I did. He was kind and had a great sense of humour. Fly high my cousin, your mom and dad are waiting to comfort you with open arms. You will always be remembered and forever missed. - Posted by: Valerie Kipling (Cousin) on: Mar 29, 2025
