Trevor and I went to elementary school together. He came to a few of my birthday parties. I was looking at some old photos of said parties just the other day. I think we were in grade 2, Miss Kormillo's class at Maple Leaf school. He had a shirt on that had a picture of a cat on it. I remember the cat, because I think that was his favourite pet! Lost track during the junior high years-he went to John Pritchard, I think-and I went to Chief Peguis. Hooked up in grade 11at River East Collegiate in Mr. Kells's English class and again in grade 12 in Miss Sawchuk's English literature class. We were all placed in alphabetical order, so he sat across the aisle from me. He had a good healthy sense of dry wit about him. SOB was one of his favourite movies at the time (yes, that's the actual title. It was directed by Blake Edwards, made in 1980). I also remember him being a sharp dresser when the rest of us were sporting the jeans and T-shirt line. I saw Trevor for the last time in the hallowed halls of the University of Winnipeg in the Autumn of 1988. I forget what was said, but we parted on a high note and went our separate ways. Recognized his photo in the Saturday obituaries and felt I had to make a final gesture by writing a few words. My condolences to his family. I will try to attend the Celebration of LIfe ceremony on the 25th of April. - Posted by: Nick Shoup (FRIEND) on: Apr 01, 2025

Please accept my sincere condolences. Although I have not seen Trevor for many years, I remember him well as a boy in my third grade classroom. Trevor was a quiet, friendly and curious student. I have many fond memories of Trevor as a lovely soul. Rest in peace, Helga Berger - Posted by: Helga Berger (Aunt and teacher) on: Mar 31, 2025
