Age 75, born July 9, 1949, in Winnipeg; passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025. Survived by his loving wife Debra, their son Frank (Alicia), stepdaughter Tamara Murkin, stepson Jonathan Murkin (Pam) and his cherished grandchildren; Calla and Reed. John was known for his dedication to his work and his passion for motorcycles and rock 'n roll music. His journey through life took him and his family to Boston, Calgary, Comox and finally to the Lower Mainland of BC, where he found his true home. John's cherished time on his boat will be forever remembered. Donations can be made to Central Okanagan Hospice House Kelowna.
