it is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved brother and uncle, Gerry, on March 28, 2025.
Gerry was born June 16, 1930. He was predeceased by father Tom, mother Caroline, and brothers, Neil, Bruce and Harold. Gerry will be sorely missed by his sister Marilyn, brother Jack (Marge), sister-in-law Judy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gerry had a big heart and a relaxing and giving temperament that made him an enjoyable companion on the golf course and elsewhere. He had been a member of Elmhurst Golf and Country Club for over 50 years.
In keeping with Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of Gerry's life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview for the compassionate care he has received over the past several years.
So long, "Ger boy'.
