WAYNE HASELHAN SR.

It is with profound sadness and deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Wayne Haselhan Sr. on March 25, 2025 at the age of 74 years old.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, John and Elna, and his son Wayne Jr.

He leaves to mourn the love of his life, Jacqueline, of 55 years; daughter Lindsay (Bryan); granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Cassandra; grandson Eryck; and his many family and friends.

Wayne was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on January 23, 1951. Wayne attended Red River Community College, completing a course in carpentry which he continued to enjoy throughout his life, whether it was crafting simple projects or complex construction projects. Wayne was a man of many talents.

In his spare time, he enjoyed puzzles, word searches and listening to music. However, spending time out at the cottage surrounded by his grandchildren is what brought him the most joy.

Wayne was known to have a kind, generous nature, he was thoughtful and considerate of others, always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a good sense of humour and was always joking, bringing laughter to all who knew him. He had a love for all animals, but specifically a husky named Chester.

Wayne was one of a kind, an old soul. He will be missed dearly and carried forever in our hearts.

In respecting Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place and no formal memorial service will be held.

We ask all that knew Wayne to celebrate his life in your own special way.
