Heinz passed away March 7, 2025, at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 72.
Heinz was born on December 22, 1952, at Plumas, Manitoba to parents Reinhold and Marie Moller, and lived there till the age of three. He relocated to Winnipeg when his father passed where spent the rest of his life. At age 15 Heinz spent a summer working at a family farm and grew into the hard worker he would become, gaining his confidence. He wanted to become an electrician, but at the time jobs were not available. Becoming a father at 19 years of age he worked two jobs to support his wife and daughter. Most of his adult life was either deliveries or driving taxis. He was a man of many words and made friends wherever he was. He lived life to the fullest every day. He was a self-taught jack of all trades, either in car mechanics, home renos and even built a family cottage. His greatest regret at the end of his life was not being able to see his grandson play football.
Heinz is survived by daughter Sandy (Jason) Guziak and grandchildren, Stephanie and Devin; sisters, Rose Palen, Helen (Victor) Parent, three nieces and several grandnieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Robert Moller, brother-in-law Fred Palen, and nephews, Vernon Parent and Anthony Parent.
