Richard was born April 4, 1968 in Lethbridge Alberta and passed away on March 18, 2025 in Maple Ridge BC. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard.
Richard leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Veronica (Verna) Demanski Shaw, brother and best friend Gordon Long, and Sister April Shaw who he affectionately called “Mugsy.” Survived by many nieces and nephews and friends from western Canada. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Richard was known by all for his immense kindness and generosity. He was always looking to support those who needed things more than himself.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
Richard is among the angels now where he will no doubt continue his kindness and generosity.
We love you Richard and you may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
