LOIS NAY
April 26, 1950 - April 13, 2023
Two years ago, I lost my baby sister Lois and my son lost his beloved Auntie/Godmother.
In the years before her death when she was struggling for a diagnosis for relentless abdominal pain, she took care of me through four major surgeries.
She always had my back.
My sister was hardworking, loved teaching and her students, loved her friends and loved our farm. She was courageous and intelligent, searching on her own to fight for her life against an aggressive cancer. She was generous and cared about others, including animals. Protecting water and land meant everything to her.
I miss my sister's laughter, her joie de vivre, her sense of humour and good take on things and her love for my son.
Our lives go on, but a bright light in the midst of it has gone out. We love you dear Lois and will never forget you.
