It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helen Victoria Chaykowski, on April 5, 2025, at the age of 90.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Victor, on October 8, 2024, her parents, Metro and Mary Dolinski, her brothers, Harry, Fred, Steve and her twin brother Walter, her first husband and father of her children, Edward Miller, daughter Linda Alm, and son-in-law Laurie Main. She is survived by her children, Doug (Lynn), Fred (Debbie), Brian, Beverley, and her sister-in-law Mary Miller.
Helen was the heart of our home and family, from cherished family recipes that her children and grandchildren loved, chocolate chip cookies, pies, perogies and cabbage rolls, her kitchen was always filled with the aroma of love and laughter.
As per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service.

To my cousins, I am so sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen your mom in several years and the last time I did see her and Vic it was a chance meeting. I had an appointment near St. Vital Center and decided to go do my mall walking there. I heard a laugh in the distance and my heart skipped a beat. I thought to myself I know that laugh so I waited where I was until I saw her walk up with another lady. I went over and said hi and that was the end of the walking for us that day. We went to the food court where Vic was waiting. I sat down and spent about an hour and a half enjoying their company. I almost missed my appointment.
