It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs Louise Dowinski, of St. Norbert, MB, announces her passing at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface at the age of 92.
Louise was a devoted wife to Armand. She spent her working life looking after the welfare of others, be it her siblings, children of friends and relatives and of the elderly at the St. Norbert nursing home.
Louise was the daughter of Adonias and Léona Fillion (née Delorme) born in St. Jean Baptiste, MB and raised in St. Joseph, MB.
Louise will be forever cherished by her son Jean, daughter Ginette and grandson Ryan, her brothers: Maurice (Rita), Adonias Jr. (Rose Aimé) and Alfred (Madeleyne); her sisters: Agnès (Norm Nikkel) and Jacqueline (Antonio Anselmo) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Armand; her parents, her brothers: Marcel (Adeline), Wilfrid (Huguette), Sylvio (Loraine), Jean-Guy (Betty) and Laurent (Jean Gordon) and by her sisters: Lucille (Bernard Sarrasin), Raymonde (Roger Tétrault), Rose-Marie (Denis Martel) and Ginette.
Louise was a devout Catholic who revered the Virgin Mary. A memorial service will be held at St. Emile Parish, 556 St. Anne's Road on June 6, 2025, at 10:45 a.m.

I just heard of your mom's passing. I remember several weeks before my mom's passing, we were each speaking of our mothers at the nursing home, sharing our stories of our limited time we had left with them as both weren't well. My mother was a loving caring mother that would do everything for children and she is proud of her children and her grandson Ryan; now she is with my dad looking after us.
