It's hard to believe it's been 24 years since we said goodbye. You were taken from us far too soon, and not a day goes by that we don't think of you.
We miss your laughter, your warmth, and the way you made everyone feel so loved and at home. We hold tight to the memories; roasting marshmallows after a day of yard work, canning and making pickles from the garden, those spontaneous days off to head to the beach or park... and how magical you made every Christmas. You somehow made it feel like the most special day of the year, every single time.
Your husband, your four daughters and their husbands—three of whom you never got to meet—and your eight grandchildren—six of whom you never got to meet—carry your spirit with us every day. You would've loved them all, and they would've absolutely adored you.
