With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mom and dad, Wendy and Ray Benoit.
Survived by their daughters, Diana (Adam) and Dawn (Kevin), grandchildren Adam Ray and Alex, Gabrielle and Eve.
Their care and guidance shaped all our lives in ways words can't express. Mom's warmth and dad's strength and wisdom guided us through life's trials. They will never be forgotten.
As we mourn, we celebrate their lives with an open gathering of family and friends on May 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Dawson Trail Apartments, 15 Leveque Street.

My deepest condolences Diana, Dawn and family. I met your mom back in 2013 when I moved to Winnipeg for work. I had walked into the office she worked at and we immediately connected. She was a breath of fresh air to a new city where I didn’t know anyone. She welcomed me and it felt like a little piece of home. The couple of years that I lived there we would enjoy dinners together and she would often share stories of you girls and how proud she was.. always wanting the best for you both. I am deeply saddened by this news, your dad was a wonderful man as well. I believe they have both earned their wings and will be looking over you and your children. Diana, Dawn and families. We are so saddened by the passing of your parents. We will miss Wendy's kindness and Ray's wonderful sense of humour. Their friendship touched our lives. We are sorry we are unable to attend your gathering but our thoughts are with you. In their memory, we have made a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Diana and Dawn and families. It was so sad and shocking to read of the passing of both your parents Ray and Wendy. I have known Ray since 1971! He and Bert Miller .... (my husband, previously deceased in 1994) were young, single pals back then. They had some great times together. Ray was so excited to introduce us to Wendy ...who would become his lovely wife. Of course time went on and we had two girls (Denise and Janine) and Ray and Wendy added you two girls to their family. Times spent together became few and far between but friends were never forgotten!
