It is with great sadness the passing of Freda, my closest friend. Freda and I shared many interests. Freda had a terrific sense of humor. She would tell me stories about her travels and she loved shopping for clothes. Freda had a great zest for life. I will greatly miss our phone chats to each other. Also our Friday outings. Rest In Peace Dear Freda, Your Friend Forever, Linda - Posted by: Linda (Friend) on: Apr 28, 2025

Dearest Freda, it was so heartbreaking to hear of your passing. I was so looking forward to seeing you this summer, and spending some time just reminiscing about work and hearing your lovely stories of your time growing up in India. I will miss your sweet upbeat voice and ringing laughter. Your positive demeaour and zest for life was so contagious. You were such a joy to be around, I will miss you dearly. Farewell my friend, may you find peace and rest and may you be surrounded with laughter and joy in the heavenly abode. - Posted by: Geneth Amdemikael (Friend and ex co-worker) on: Apr 22, 2025

Happy Easter, Freda in Heaven. You became my best friend as we journeyed on together over the years with the many good times, sad times and today you and Gavin were to join me for Easter supper at my residence, Dakota House, not realizing this would not happen anymore, as you loved coming over for a Sunday visit, and I enjoyed having you. We had so much to chat about on the week, we both had, exchanging gifts for Christmas, Easter and Mother's Day. You have left back a legacy of some very fond memories that we shared over our years together. I am going to miss you terribly, you would love to pick up the phone and we would chat for however long to listen to each other on how your day was going to be with appts. gardening, shopping and even planning a trip to South Beach, to pass our time some afternoons. I could go on reminiscing many more things. You and Arthur even managed to do your one and only Caribbean cruise, not sure how it was going to turn out with Arthur's condition, you both enjoyed it. You were a wonderful mother, a very caring and supportive wife to your beloved husband Arthur for many years, RIP as you became dad, mum and good friends to many who knew you so well. Should I say, you had the gift of the gab, your never-ending stories about your life in India, always made me laugh out loud, with the different foods you enjoyed, and the wonderful dishes you cooked for your family, one being the best 'biryani', you brought me from time to time. Freda, God saw you getting tired with all the health issues that were catching up on you these past years with constant visits to your doctor's office, or an ambulance pickup for the hospital, you struggled to keep up with your health. A little poem to say my 'goodbye' but you will not be forgotten. There is so much we shared, and as much as I will miss you, I know you are in a better place, free from all pain and suffering. Till we meet again. GOOD FRIENDS - Posted by: Joan Rebeiro (Friend) on: Apr 20, 2025

I had the good fortune to work with Freda for many years. She exuded goodness and high moral standards in every thing she did. She was a good person and was very caring. I have many fond memories of times spent with Freda. - Posted by: Susan Rusk (Coworker and friend) on: Apr 19, 2025
