Roman Kochan died on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the age of 75, of heart failure. He came to Canada from Poland with his parents and sister in 1959 when he was 10 years old. He had been predeceased by his father in 1977 and his mother in 2016.
Roman graduated from the Electronics Repair Technician course at The Red River College in Winnipeg. He was an extremely talented electronics repair person. His boss at work said that if anyone else in the shop was not able to repair something he would give it to Roman who figured out the problem and fixed it. After retiring, Roman made repairs at his home. He loved animals.
He is mourned and will be sadly missed by his loyal sister, Maria, and friends.
Cremation has taken place; there was no service. A celebration of his life will be scheduled for later this summer or autumn.
