Born in Winnipeg. Daughter of Bernice Stern and Hyman Nusgart. Died on May 5, 2025.
She will be remembered as a supportive grandmother to Mike, devoted mother of Tamara, Nina, and Lisa, loving mother-in-law of Gabriele and Lance, and by her relatives and friends. She was dedicated to common-sense thinking about how the world worked and knitting whimsical animals to make you smile.
Private burial at Crystal Lake Cemetery. Reception and reminiscences at Hatley Community Centre, 100 rue Main, Hatley, Québec on Thursday, May 8, 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Donations in memory would be appreciated: University of Manitoba Aboriginal Business Education prize or François Lamontagne research at Université de Sherbrooke or Dian Cohen Fund at Massawippi Valley Health Foundation.
