It is with profound sadness we share the news of the passing of Jeanette Christine Fraser (nee Gardner) on June 12, 2025.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, Ron, of 67 years, daughters Susan McDonald (John), Glenda Murphy (Gerard) and grandchildren Matthew McDonald, Hannah Pesl (Tomas), Chloe McDonald and Emma Murphy; as well as a large, loving family of countless nieces & nephews and beloved sister-in-law Joyce Campbell.
Jeanette was born in Stonewall, Manitoba on February 24th, 1934, and was the youngest daughter in a close family of 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She lived a long life filled with joy and wonderful memories.
Throughout her life, whether at work, with family or on one of her many walks in the community, she always had time for a smile, a laugh and a warm conversation.
Jeanette will be remembered for her never-ending kindness and love of family and friends. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy in life, and she filled them with so much love and her famous cookies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Grosse Isle Community Hall, Grosse Isle, Manitoba on Saturday July 26th at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, a cause close to her heart.
Thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at Stonewall Hospital.
