GEORGE OSTAP
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Ostap, who left this world peacefully at the age of 98. A devoted father, a cherished husband, and a remarkable soul, he lived a long life, full of creativity, kindness and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elsie, with whom he shared a deep and enduring love. Together they built a beautiful life and raised a family rooted in care and joy. He is survived by his loving daughters, Bev (Reg) Modjeski, Nancy (Robert) Diamond, adoring grandchildren David (Sue), Ashley, Alex and Marc; and great-grandchildren, Beaudry, Benjamin, Scotlyn and Mikaela, who were all his pride and joy, and who carry forward his legacy of warmth, wit, and creativity.
A gifted artist and a passionate gardener, George had a unique way of seeing the world. Whether through a stroke of his brush or a bloom of a flower, he found and shared beauty in everyday life. His humour was as vibrant as his artwork, and he brought smiles to all who knew him with his gentle jokes and quick wit.
Kindhearted, endlessly patient, and quietly wise, he touched many lives and left the world, a better place simply by being in it.

So sorry for your loss. Mr Ostap was my neighbor for most of my life. He will always be remembered as a good man and talented artist. I enjoyed our visits when he moved to Sinawak Bay.
