CAROL LYNN REZNIK

(nee LANGLOIS)

December 3, 1940–December 5, 2024

It is with deep sadness we announce that our dear Mom and Babi, Carol, passed peacefully on December 5, 2024.

Carol had an adventurous spirit who enjoyed canoeing, hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities early in her life. She met and married the love of her life, George, who shared their mutual passion for Jazz and Classical music as well as the performing arts and had two amazing children, George and Lisa. Carol worked with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for over 25 years following her passion for the Arts. We will always cherish her bright spirit, heart-felt advice, loving hugs, kisses and warm smile.

Memorial Mass will be held on July 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Carol was a Winnipeg Arts pillar who truly made her mark. Through her years with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet and our flourishing jazz scene, our family enjoyed countless events of fond memories, important occasions and wonderful entertainment! Along with Winnipeg's own George "The Rez" Reznik, Winnipeg's answer to Oscar and Oliver, Carol was one of a million! Our sincere condolences to the Reznik clan. • I worked with Carol at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for several years, and admired her good spirits and how much she enjoyed being there, despite the many frustrations of the job. After I left the RWB, Carol and I would often meet for coffee or lunch, and just talk about life. She was a good person to have as a friend, and I think about her every so often. Rest in peace, Carol. Thank you for the times we spent together. - Posted by: Thelma Sures (Former co-worker) on: Jul 05, 2025
