It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin, Kathleen "Joyce" Pepin on July 14, 2025, at the age of 72.
Joyce leaves to mourn her children, Terry (Tracy), Jackie, Kevin, Maya (Lawrence); her grandchildren, Dillan, Paris, Jordyn (Brendan), Payton (Destiny), Diego, Ariana, Piper, Ariadna, Paige, Willow, Cordelia and Darius; and her great-grandchildren, Ariella, Parker and Theodore; her sisters, Audrey (Dave), Valerie (Guy), Velma, Theresa (Irvin), Tracy (Larry) and Helen; her brother, Steve (Tammy); special cousins/sisters, Marlene (Bob), Corrine (Paul) and Debbie-Ann; her godchildren, Jeremy and Andrea; embraced daughters, Stacy and Ariane; her aunts, Mary, Margaret, Ruth and Therese; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alphonse and Dora Courchene; her stepdad Guy Lafrance; her sisters, Laura, Shirley, Penny; dear brother-in-law Brian; grandchildren, Carter and Rain-Lee; niece Shawna; nephews, GuyJ and Justin; and great-nephew Seth; and her godparents, Josephine and Charlie Courchene.
A traditional wake service is being held at the Turtle Lodge, 47017-F Highway 11, Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba from July 17 to July 21, 2025. A final viewing and traditional feast will be held at the Turtle Lodge on July 21, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to follow at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Notre Dame du Laus Cemetery.
