RICHARD JACK SCHREYER

August 3, 1931 - August 19, 2025

Richard Jack Schreyer passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 94.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Schreyer, and his son Rick Schreyer. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy Bain (Randy) and Melanie Pearson Morfitt (Bill), and daughter-in-law Lisa Schreyer.

Richard was a proud grandfather to Michael Bain (Jenn), Kristi Olson (Steve), Erin Pearson, Kira Pearson (Michel), Creighton Schreyer (Laynie), Dawson Schreyer, and Ashleigh Schreyer. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Adam and Allie Bain; April and Hannah Olson; Astrid Schreyer; and Remy Elias Pearson.

He is survived by his sister Dorothy Ballegeer, and was predeceased by siblings, Ed, Clara, Robert, Lillian, Leonard, and George.

Richard will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep love for family, and unwavering spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

A Life Well Lived

He lived with quiet strength, guided by integrity and curiosity.

He sought knowledge not for recognition, but for understanding.

He loved deeply, and led by example.

His legacy is not just in what he did, but in how he made others feel---

valued, respected, and loved.
