Peacefully we announce the passing of Wanda Neufeld, with daughter Judy at her side on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 100 years.
Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Adina Peters, Eileen Funk, Judy (Wayne) Urbonas and Carla (Darren) Thiessen. Grandchildren Adrian Peters (Kathleen), Amber (Matthew) Hoover, Robert (Jill) Urbonas, Kim (Cory) Lind, Kenton (Jacqui) Jantzen, and Carter (Ashley) Jantzen. She is also survived by Great-Grandchildren Taylor and Riley Peters, Blake, Katelyn and Chase Jantzen, Addisyn and Jocelyn Jantzen, Fiona Lind. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Deanna Neufeld of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Franz Neufeld, parents Gerhard and Malwina Neufeld, son-in-law Art Peters, and her siblings George, Harry, and Agnes.
The Celebration of her Life will be held at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Ukraine Ministries (Mennonite Benevolent Society).
