It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Raymond Bazinet announce his passing on October 2nd, 2025, at the age of 61.

Albert was a dedicated man. He couched our girls junior curling team for a number of years. I was always amazed at the enthusiasm, confidence and inspiration he instilled in the girls. He will be missed. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Sidney Cherewyk (Friend) on: Oct 13, 2025

We have lost a great man! He dedicated himself to youth Curling in Winnipeg like nobody else ever has or likely ever will again. I ran into him in Curling circles only a couple times a year, but knew of his impact on the game. At our last meeting, earlier this year, he said he had been having health issues, but he didn’t seek sympathy or to burden others with his situation. His focus, as always, was on the kids and not himself. My sincere condolences to his family, as he was taken way too soon.
