Lucie Laurendeau, née DéGagné, age 87, passed away peacefully in Winnipeg on September 29, 2025, with family by her side, and knowing how profoundly she was loved.
Lucie will be lovingly remembered by her five children and their families: Gisèle Bazin (Michel), Diane DeBattista (Ron), Nicole Déquier (René), Roger Laurendeau (Nicoletta), and Rachel Laurendeau. She was a cherished grandmother to Stéfane (Marie), Christian (Connie), Patrick (Taylor), Loïc (Sara), André (Alex), Justin (Sarah), Karine (Shane), Jean-Marc (Céline), Mylène (Colin), Danèle, Xavier, and Cédric, as well as great-grandmother to Joel, Alyxe, Lochlan, Adalynn, and Hugo.
She is now at rest and reunited with her beloved husband, Léon Laurendeau; her parents, Lucien and Eliza DéGagné; and her brothers, Arthur, Alphonse, and Emile.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in St. Norbert.
