Eileen passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Fred Douglas Lodge on October 10, 2025. Mom, grandma and Nana will be missed.

We first met Eileen and Max at Bert and Irene McCartney‘s home on Christmas Eve, which was an annual event. Our dad, Bill Peters, played Santa Claus for all the children. We all embraced the spirit of the season and had a wonderful time together. Eileen‘s beautiful smile would always light up the room. Treasured memories are what sustain us when we lose those that we care about or who have been a part of our lives, whether recently or long ago. May all of your beautiful memories help to ease your great loss. Both Eileen and Max will always be remembered for their love of life and family.
