It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, our Nanny, Angelina Buccini, at the age of 87. Angelina will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Lena and Rina; brother Tony (Tita); sister-in-law Sharon; sons-in-law Greg and Larry; grandchildren Amanda (Mike), Ryan, Tristan (Marie-Josée), Samantha (Justin), Christopher (Katie), and Amber (Bryce); as well as her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Angelina was predeceased by her parents, Gaetano and Giuseppina; her brother, Orlando; her husbands, Gino and Gus; her daughters, Dolores and Penny; and her great-grandson, Ben.
Born in Amato, Italy, Angelina immigrated to Winnipeg as a young woman, where she built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, tradition, and hospitality. Angelina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a proud and active member in the Italian community. She will be remembered as a selfless and caring woman whose kindness and generosity touched all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Church on Thursday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens.

Dear Greg, Larry, Lina, Rina and Tony, We were so saddened to hear of Angie’s passing. She was a wonderful example of faith, strength and perseverance. With all the ups and downs of life, she always tried to show the positive side to life. She will be immensely missed. Now she is with God and her family up in Heaven.
