Our deepest condolences on the loss of Maureen. I remember her coming to Swan Lake and visiting Grandma Nellie Bertouille. Grandma often talked about her nieces and the fun they had. Remember her talking about the Van Achte girls with a smile on her face. Our sympathies to your family. - Posted by: Dale and Rhonda Evans(De Blonde) (Cousin) on: Nov 18, 2025

Our condolences to John and the entire family on their losing a wonderful lady. Maureen has been our neighbour for nearly 40 years and we have been captivated by her wit, knowledge and cooking skills. She is also a loss for us, constantly seeing her busy in the yard and garden and enjoying a backyard bonfire or trying to get John’s attention to come to the phone or for dinner. We will miss her fruit roll ups but mostly we will miss her. Those in heaven will now have a turn at enjoying Maureen. - Posted by: Jerry & Annette Monastyrski (Neighbour) on: Nov 17, 2025
