Peacefully, on November 23, 2025, Janice passed away at the age of 79 years.
A Celebration of Life in her honour will be held at 12:00 p.m., on December 10, at the St. Boniface Golf Course.
A complete obituary will be placed in a future edition of the Winnipeg Free Press.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of West Park Manor for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Misericordia foundation or a charity of your choice.

I am sorry to read that my friend Jan Borlase has passed away. I first met her about 25 years ago when she hired me for a nursing position at the Misericordia Hospital. We were both nurses “ from the same era”. I had good conversations with her and remember that we once played as partners in a charity golf tournament together. I also remember meeting her mother years ago, a person who was warm and kind like Jan. I offer my sincere Condolences to Jan’s son and I am aware that her husband also passed away a few years ago. I also have been a friend of Jan Argue who was Jan’s sister in law, whom I hope I might meet at her Celebration of Life.
