Terry and family. I just read Chris’s obituary catching up on my newspapers. I have been in the hospital with a septic abscess on my hip since the middle of December and just a few days ago sent Chris a little note not knowing she had passed away. I am so so sorry. I feel sad that I didn’t get a chance to talk to her the past couple of months. I did not know that she was ill and her last note indicated she was in extreme pain. I’ve been in Victoria hospital all this time. My sincere heartfelt Condolences to all of you. She was so proud of her family and the Accomplishments. It is great that you were able to spend so much time with her the past couple of years. I know she enjoyed the trips to visit you. - Posted by: Gerri Mclean (Friend) on: Jan 23, 2026

I just read Saturday's passages this morning and saddened to hear that Christine passed. She warmly welcomed me into her line dancing circle, and allowed me the great privilege of sparing for her volunteer shifts at MTC. I now regularly volunteer because of Christine! She gave me a sequin pouch that I use daily and it reminds of her twinkling, spirited eyes. I was looking forward to having a visit with during the holidays. I share my sincere sympathies with Christine's family and friends. - Posted by: Debbie Smith (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2026

Christine and I had the privilege of working together for many years. It was a privilege to be her friend, she was very kind and a caring person, loved by those who crossed her path, for whatever reason. Sincere condolences to her family, she will be missed by all who knew her. Elsie Schmidt - Christiuk. - Posted by: Elsie Schmidt-Christiuk (Fellow worker, friend.) on: Jan 04, 2026

Hi Terry, it’s been awhile. I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I know it’s a big loss when you can’t reach out to your mom for a phone call or visit but I know she will live on in your memories and those of your son Ben, extended family and friends. I remember your mom as a kind and welcoming person. I recall your mom and mine volunteering together at Westdale High School and I know my mom liked your mom a lot and thought highly of her. My thoughts are with you today and know that your mom’s love for you will never end. Take care, Mark - Posted by: Mark Ahrens-Townsend (Classmate and Friend of Terry) on: Jan 04, 2026

Condolences to you, Terry, and Rena and Ben. We have many fond memories of playing golf with your Mom and sometimes chatting over the fence when the family home was behind the 1st green at Breezy. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Hanne & Ole Hansen (Friends) on: Jan 03, 2026
