It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Murray Thomson. Murray passed in the very early hours of Thursday, January 1, 2026 at the Assiniboine Centre with family by his side.
A celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Salon at the Victoria Inn, 3550 Victoria Ave, Brandon, Manitoba.

Very sorry to hear about Murray’s passing. Did not know Murray personally other than being on ice Junior A hockey opponents for a few years. What I did know though, was what a fierce competitor and skilled hockey player Murray was who brought it every game we played against him and was respected by all.
