  • Dear Alex, My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your husband. We were close for many years starting in grade 6 at Princess Margaret School. Even though I moved to Edmonton in the early 70’s Bill and I continued to get together several times a year. Our birthdays were only 5 days apart, so we would normally call each other every mid January. Sadly, we lost touch the last number of years. Again Alex, I am deeply saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. I considered it a privilege to be among his group of friends. Yours truly, Wally Penner - Posted by: Wally Penner (Friendship that started in grade school!) on: Mar 14, 2026
