Loretta died peacefully surrounded by family at St. Boniface Hospital after a brief illness.
Celebration of Life entrusted to Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

My condolences to the family. Loretta and I go back since 1993. We met when I started to work at independent fisheries close to Pacific Ave., Winnipeg. Loretta, was a force be reckoned with at times.😉 She was a honest strong, hard-working woman with a kind soul.❤️ We have kept in touch through all these years. Sending Christmas cards and phone calls. Loretta was a kind, gentle soul. I’ll never forget that When my mom passed, whenever she saw me she’d always ask how I was doing. Debra, Amanda and Joann, I hope you take comfort in all the good memories you have. You girls were always looking after her and always took such great care of her. Sorry for your loss of your Mother & Grandmother Debbie, Joann & Amanda. Lorette was always so kind to my Mom Bertha when they lived in the Bluebird residence, my Mom spoke highly of her, and thought she was just wonderful.
