JOHN ALBERT BROWNING

1932 - 2026

With sadness we announce the passing of John Albert Browning on March 11, 2026. Born March 23, 1932. Predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Katherine Browning; stepbrother Eric Day; and loving wife Sharon.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Irene Deck (Al), and Lynda Browning. His children, Kim Hardisty, Scott Browning (Zenaida), Lorelee Hamilton (Scott), and Darren Lines (Allison). Grandchildren, Wesley (Patricia), Carsen, Jarret (Stephanie), Brian, Mitchell, Mnessa (Matthew), Madison, Mackenzie, and Riley. Great-grandchildren, Azayah, Elijah, Deagan, and Asher. Nieces, nephews, and cousins in the United Kingdom and Canada.

John served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Master Warrant Officer with multiple postings. Upon leaving the service, he worked for the Department of National Defence in a similar position until retiring.

Cremation has occurred. A Celebration of Life for both John and Sharon will be held Monday, July 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg. Refreshments to follow interment.
