SHIRLEY ANN DAVIDUK

(nee WIESNER)

Shirley Ann Daviduk (nee Wiesner) passed away on March 28, 2026 at the age of 77.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Charles (Karl) and Vera Wiesner. She is survived by her loving husband George Daviduk; her daughters, Keris Goulet (Renaud), and Candace Van Reede (Mike). Also by her grandsons, Colby Van Reede and Ross Dick (Rachel) and her great-grandson Blake Dick.

Shirley grew up in West St. Paul Manitoba. After graduation from West Kildonan Collegiate she worked at Fort Garry Trust as a stenographer, and also worked as a teacher's aide at West St. Paul School while her children attended. Shirley was well liked by everyone who met her. She was shy and kind throughout her life. Her greatest love was her husband George, from the moment they met, from that moment on, their love lasted strongly through 56 years of marriage. Many great memories of summers at Spruce Sands Trailer Park, and family trips in the RV down south, were things she enjoyed with her family. She now rests her head with the Angels in peace.

Thank you to the staff of Luther Home where mom resided for the last five years. As per Shirley's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would instead like donations to be made to CAMH to support Mental Health in Manitoba.

I have not been in touch with Shirley or George for many years as we live on opposite sides of the city but I am sure that she will be greatly missed by very many family and friends but I have a lot of good childhood memories that I can refer to that will bring a smile as I remember the good times we had growing up. • Dear George, Kerris, and Candace, Karen and I were saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. She was a kind and humble person who loved her family so much. Shirley was also a person that knew what suffering was like as during these passed few years was confined to a nursing home. But God has finally called her from her suffering and now she is safe in the arms of Jesus. He has wiped all pain and suffering away and has promised Shirley eternal life in heaven as she is now safe in the arms of Jesus. We pray for her family during these difficult times and we hope that God's love will continue to fill your hearts and memories of your dear wife and mother Shirley. Remember that we will all be reunited in heaven where peace, love, and joy will be our lasting rewards. Godd-bye oh faithful servant and rest in peace until we meet again. Love Karen and Richard. - Posted by: Richard and Karen Appler (cousin) on: Apr 11, 2026
