It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rolly, aged 84. Born in Norrkoping, Sweden, Rolly left his parents and family to come to Canada in 1968.
Rolly was predeceased by his parents, granddaughter Shireece, five brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.
Rolly started his career in copper, ventilation, and sheetmetal in Sweden. His career took him all over Canada. He was well known for restoring the copper on the dome of the legislature building in Winnipeg in 2002, and the church dome in Dauphin, MB.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Josephine, son Chris (Crystal), Grandchildren, Justin (Measha), Jaydon, and Keirston, son Keith (Lori), grandchildren, Brittany (Sage), Maja, and Austin, daughter Kristi (Jim), grandchildren Kayden and Tristan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with viewing at 11:00 a.m. and mass starting at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St, Winnipeg, MB.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
