Peacefully, with family members by her side, Colleen passed away on Good Friday, April 3, 2026.
Colleen was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Albert as well as her sisters, Amber, Bonnie, Phyllis, Billy and Fern, her brothers, Ernie and Frederick and her son Kenny.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Lawrence, Kerry and DeeDee (John) as well as her grandchildren, Sasha, Jesse (Lindsay), Sara, Jenna (Thomas), Michael (Carly), Josh (Samantha), and Kiera (David) and her great-grandchildren, Jallen, Kallea, Eve, Luke, Audrey, Aiden, Mac and Dawson.
Colleen was born in Fort Francis and after moving to Winnipeg with Albert, raised her family before embarking on a career at Autopac where she met many lifelong friends.
Family was very important to Colleen and she loved gatherings of all her children and grandchildren and the fun and chaos that ensued, with cards inevitability being played at the end of the evening.
The family would like to thank Colleen's amazing friends, Dorothy, Leslie, Donna May and Joan as well as her companion Manny for all the good times they shared with her.
They would also like to thank all the staff at Meadowood Manor for the wonderfully compassionate care they gave Colleen over her final years.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will occur at a future date in the summer.

My sincere condolences to Lawrence, DeeDee and Kerry. She had good life with its ups and downs, but you could always find that smile on her face, no matter what the circumstances were. She was a great aunty and made the best cream of tomato soup. She will always be in my thoughts. Love Mar. - Posted by: Marlene Laba (Niece) on: Apr 11, 2026
