I am so very saddened that I won't see his smiling face again. We worked together for a few years. He was always very open minded, fair and kind. My heart goes out to his family. - Posted by: Moira Honey (Colleague) on: Apr 11, 2026

I’m so sad to read that Lawrie passed away. Such a wonderful friend from many years ago. Lawrie was the best man at my first wedding in 1966. Although we lost touch after my divorce I enjoyed seeing Lawrie and his band playing at Concordia Village where my dad lived. We had a lot of fun back in the day. My sincere and deepest sympathy to Barb and the family. Always in our hearts and memories. - Posted by: karen asgeirson (Dobson) (Friend) on: Apr 11, 2026

Lawrie taught both my sons and I worked with him for a few years. I was in the library. I also enjoyed seeing him every year at the Oakbank Dinner Theatre and he always mentioned my sons. My condolences to the family. He will be missed. - Posted by: Kathy Tremblay (Co-worker) on: Apr 11, 2026
