It is with deep sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Arthur Buckley in his 93rd year on April 1, 2026, at Victoria General Hospital.
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Caroline (nee Malinowski); his parents, Arthur and Edith; in-laws; sisters, Edith, Mary, and Hazel; and brothers-in-law, James and Arthur.
Art will be missed by his daughter Valdene (Jim) Lawson; son Leonard (Janeal); grandchildren, Drew, Madison, and Jack Buckley; and beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family extends sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at Seven Oaks Hospital Geri Rehab ward and Seine River Retirement Residence for their compassionate care and support of Art.
Donations may be made to Khartum Shrine or Masonic Foundation of Manitoba Patient Transportation Funds.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue.
