It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brian on April 12, 2026, at the age of 71 years.
He will be missed by his siblings, Linda (Ron) Plenert, David Matthies, Lori (Ray) Dennis and Eric Matthies. Brian will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Jennifer Plenert, Kim (Jeremy and Bree) Sourkes, Erin (Shaka, Niyah) Licorish, Marina Matthies, nephew Brennan Matthies, and niece Emma Dennis.
He was predeceased by his father Rudy Matthies and mother Dorothy Matthies.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian’s life will take place at a later date.
