JOHN TROSCHUK
The family of John are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on April 22, 2026.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Violet; his daughters, Debra and Brenda (Rick); his four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Violet’s daughter Debby (Juergen), and her three grandchildren.
Per his wishes, a private Celebration of Life has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the MS Society or CancerCare Manitoba.

I am sadden to hear about the passing of John. He was an amazing man who always had a smile. I will cherish the time we shared and sadden with the years that were taken away from us. I met John when I started working with the City of Winnipeg in 1985, and he’s someone I never forgot. He was easygoing, always willing to help, and always up for a good joke. John went out of his way for people, and I was grateful for the advice and wisdom he shared with me early in my career. His memory will stay with me. I have many happy memories of John, from when we both worked for The City of Winnipeg. I remember John as a nice man and as a hard working and dedicated employee.
