ELAINE MARGERY SMITH
On Monday, May 4, 2026, Elaine passed into eternal rest at the Health Sciences Centre Women’s Hospital due to complications from cancer.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon; her parents, Frank and Oresta Kostelniak; and her sister, Lori Blight.
Elaine is survived by her sons, Paul (Elizabeth) Kondratuk and Travis (Shawna) Kondratuk; and her grandson, Spencer Kondratuk.
Elaine had a passion for travel and found great happiness in exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and creating lasting memories along the way.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
