With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shane on April 18, 2026 with his wife at his side at the age of 72.
Shane is survived by his wife Marilyn; his children, Cheryl (Dan) and Kenneth; grandchildren, Auron and Marcus; brother Brad (Anita); and his nieces, Chandra, Lauren, Lindsay; and nephew Adam.
We believe he’ll be enjoying coffee each Sunday with his brother Randy.

He was a great man with a heart that well needed to work a bit better in the end. I was lucky to take him out the day before he left us to have coffee. I have fond memories of when we first met with dancing. He is now with dancing with others that have passed and sharing stories with my parents. I will enjoy fires in my backyard yard from the offcuts of wood he would bring by for my fire pit and I will miss him giving me rides to my movie extra work. He even did one with me if I remember correctly. Shanes love to his wife will always be something me and my husband will work on following in the strength you both shared. I’ve known Shane since we were teenagers in Air Cadets together. He, and his brother Randy, and I stayed in touch for all these years. They were always supportive and encouraging.
