Don Hardy died June 9, 2026.
Raised in Carman, Manitoba, Don was blessed with a loving, supportive family from the beginning to the end of his life.
Don had a successful career in sales after graduation from the University of Manitoba. Over the next 40 years he lived in Canada’s largest cities and plied his trade joyfully from British Columbia to Newfoundland. He was a kind and thoughtful person who loved to help others and to be involved in community projects.
Don was a wonderful brother and uncle, and is survived by his sister-in-law Ólöf and nieces and nephews David Kidd, Kathy Adams, Janet Gray, Joan Hardy, and Trevor, Paul and Eric Hardy. He was predeceased by his parents Archie and Dorothy Hardy, and by siblings Irene (Lorne), Ken, and Robert (Mary Ann).
Don struggled with Pulmonary Fibrosis in his final years; donations in Don’s memory to Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation will be appreciated. There will be no funeral service, per Don’s wishes.
