DONALD NORMAN BISSETT
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, dad, brother, and grandad on June 11, 2026. Don passed peacefully at home, with his beloved wife, Barbara, by his side.
Don was born on Father’s Day, 1956, to Clare and Doreen Bissett in Saskatoon. Don and Barb married in 1977 and spent 48 loving years together. Prior to his retirement, Don worked for many years for Mohawk Oil, taking great pride in his work and the relationships he built with his colleagues.
Don was predeceased by his father, Clare, in 1985, mother, Doreen, in 2004, and two grandchildren in infancy. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Barbara, brother Robert (Maggie), daughters Lesley and Angella, and grandchildren, Ashton, Alex, Alyssa, and Tristan, and great-grandson Leo.
Family was the greatest source of joy in Don’s life, and he was the bedrock of our lives, always there to provide his opinion. His love, guidance, and support will be deeply missed.
As per Don’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, Grace Hospice, or a charity of your choice in Don’s memory.
