I was shocked to learn of Rob's passing today. Rob was my personal and corporate lawyer for 37 years. In that time he was always there with calm thoughtful advice and I relied on his wise counsel on numerous occasions. He always had time for my calls and emails. He was a credit to the legal profession. I want to express my sincere condolences to Rob's family, friends and colleagues on his passing. He will be missed. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with I Rob at Pitblado. Rob was always our go-to person for spelling, punctuation, and thoughtful advice. We loved hearing about his travels, and true to his word, he never failed to send us postcards for our memory wall. Those postcards became cherished reminders of his adventures and the thoughtfulness he showed to everyone he cared about. My condolences to Craig and his children. - Posted by: Kelly Greenaway (employee) on: Jul 28, 2026

OMG, what a terrible shock. Rob was the consummate gentleman lawyer: erudite, debonair, insightful, thorough, and compassionate. He is gone too soon and will be missed and remembered. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. - Posted by: David Ramsay (former business partner and friend) on: Jul 26, 2026

I knew and worked with Rob at Credit Union Central of Manitoba for many years. As a great lawyer he always answered your first question with ‘it depends’ and followed up with the knowledge you were looking for. Thanks for everything, Rob, you will be sorely missed. - Posted by: Bernard Carling (Friend and work colleague) on: Jul 25, 2026
