EDWARD POSNER Peacefully on September 17, 1999, age 81, at his home surrounded by his family, Edward Neil Posner, born July 29, 1918. Edward is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Sylvia (nee Shaw) Posner; their five children, Miles Posner and his wife Suzi of Toronto (Melissa and Jordan), Cynthia Posner and companion Don Gales (Jonathan Meltzer and his wife Sean of Winnipeg, Megan Meltzer of Toronto), Stephen Posner and his wife Einike of Los Angeles, Calif. (Zachary and Jacob), Alex Posner and his wife Pam of Winnipeg (Jonah) and Matthew Posner and his wife Brenlee of Boston, Mass. (Caleb and Sarah). Edward is also survived by two sisters, Minnie Wyman of Hallendale, Florida, Daulley Polson and husband Hy of Winnipeg and sister-in-law Leah Posner of Winnipeg. Edward was predeceased by his two brothers, Sam and Ben and sisters, Eva Diamond Pellatt and Maudie Paul Book. Edward will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services were held at the Rosh Pina Synagogue on September 19 with interment in the Rosh Pina Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Rady Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
