Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • My belated condolences to Gail and Gloria. I had the pleasure of working with Lynne, Gail and Wilf. Wilf was the MacDonald's Consolidated (Safeway) Produce Warehouse Manager. This was a large responsibility to support 50 retail stores with produce throughout the year from all over Canada, US and Mexico. We know how fragile produce, the time it takes from the fields to get to market and weather. He had to inspect loads and file insurance claims for damaged product. Wilf was a very sincere and humble person. He was very efficient in his work as I never seen him panic. He was a great help in making the yearly Red Cross Blood Donor Clinics. Thank you for your help and cooperation over all those years. Rest in Peace. When I arranged an inner city elementary school tour of the Produce Warehouse, Wilf stayed after hours to conduct the tour as the bus being late. - Posted by: Colin Dederick (collague) on: May 01, 2021
