BOGDAN PRIGRODSKI Accidentally on Thursday, September 30, 1999, Bogdan Prigrodski aged 46 years, beloved husband of Anna. Bogdan was born on September 23, 1953 in the village of Bereziw Weznyj, near Kolomyja in W. Ukraine. There he completed his schooling, received a business diploma and worked in the police business investigation department. He married his beloved Anna, a school friend, on September 25, 1976. Bogdan came to Winnipeg from Ukraine in January 1991. Since his arrival, he was employed at the Donut House on Selkirk Avenue. Bogdan was predeceased by his father Wasyl Prigrodski at an early age, father-in-law Wasyl Persowycz, Aunty Maria Persowycz and Aunty Anna Barylak-Holynska on January 11, 1999. He leaves to mourn his untimely passing his beloved wife Anna in Winnipeg. In Ukraine he leaves his mother Ruzia Prigrodska; brothers, Mychajlo and Wasyl Prigrodski with their families, Aunty Julia Urbanowycz and her family; mother-in-law Anna Persowycz; brother-in-law Mykola Persowycz; sisters-in-law Olga Persowycz and Maria Persowycz and their families. Bogdan was a very friendly, hard-working, well-meaning person. As a result he leaves many further relatives and friends both in Ukraine and Winnipeg, especially Maria and Metro Harasemiws children, Lisa, Zenon, and Oksana who loved their baker dearly. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 8 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 9 at St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 110 Disraeli St. with Very Rev. J. Melnyk officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ivan Pecuh, Mychajlo Lepki, Walter Urbanowich, Petro Pecuh, Frank Macsymetz and Tefan Sulatysky. Anna would like to thank Constables Kondrat and Howes of the Winnipeg Police Department, nurse Lana of Health Sciences Emergency Dept. and all her and Bogdans friends and co-workers for all the support they have given her during this difficult time.
