PETER PROKOP Peacefully, on November 23, 1999, Peter Prokop, dearly beloved father and grandfather, passed away at age 78 years, after a lengthy stay at the Betel Home, Selkirk. Peter leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his children, Linda (Star) and her husband Aubrey of Selkirk, Randy and his wife Diane, Rocky, both of Kitchener, Ont., Fern of Winnipeg; his sisters, Helen of Transcona, Eleanor of Vancouver; brother Morris of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Thelma; sister Lil and grandson Dorin. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 26 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. Canon Paul W.L. Smith officiating. Interment to follow in Transcona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy, Rocky, Aubrey, Herman, Ep and Karl. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Betel Home, Selkirk, for their caring and kindness. Sadly missed and forever loved. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
