ROBERT MICHAEL THOME Surrounded by his devoted family, Robert Thome passed away on November 27, 1999 at the age of 39 years, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Robs memory will be cherished by his loving wife Kathryn; daughters, Jasmine and Samara; his parents, Joe and Rose; sister Joann Kirkpatrick and her family; Kathryns father Terry Tresoor; her sisters, Sue Hechter, Nancy Reynolds; brothers, Terry, Michael, John, David; and their families; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins; as well as many wonderful friends. Rob was a dedicated teacher at the Reston Elementary School, devoting endless hours to his precious students. He was also actively involved in the Reston community. At Robs request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4 at the Pipestone Community Hall, Pipestone, MB, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Ray McMullan officiating. The family would like to express its heartfelt appreciation to all the health care providers for their care and concern during Robs illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robs memory to the Reston Elementary School, P.O. Box 9, Reston, MB R0M 1X0, or a charity of personal preference.
